VEX IQ
This year, we began our venture into VEX Robotics. We started two new VEX IQ Teams, VEX #1216A and VEX #1216B. Our VEX #1216A team The Alchemists advanced to the Regional Championship and VEX #1216B Electric Astros advanced to the VEX World Competition. The Alchemists won the Judges Award at the VEX IQ Qualifier and advanced to Regionals. Electric Astros won the Design Award at the VEX IQ Qualifier and the VEX IQ Regional Competition. With the Design Award, VEX 1216B advanced to the VEX World Championship taking place in Dallas, Texas. The Electric Astros will be competing from May 2nd to May 4th.
VEX VRC
VEX VRC represents our fifth generation of education robotics systems developed with 20 years of experience using robotics to teach STEM principles. V5 electronics are approachable, flexible and powerful, using state of the art technology to ensure relevant education outcomes. The V5 mechanical system includes versatile elements that makes engineering approachable for novice users, while still providing experienced users with endless design possibilities. VEX allows students to hone critical computational thinking skills needed to succeed in both the 21st century's workforce and in everyday life.
